How to add your first team?

A team is the basic unit in a club: you assign a coach, players and events to it. Adding the first team takes a moment.

Step by step

  1. 1In the club admin panel, go to the teams section.
  2. 2Choose to add a new team.
  3. 3Give the team a name matching the age group (e.g. U12).
  4. 4Assign a lead coach if you've already added them.
  5. 5Save — the team is ready for adding players and events.

Extra notes

  • A team name usually refers to an age group; the club is added in the interface.
  • To one team you can assign players and plan events in the calendar.

Common problems

I don't see the option to add a team

Make sure you're using an account with the club admin role. A coach sees their teams, but creating new ones usually belongs to the admin.

I've hit the team limit

The number of teams depends on the plan. If you need more, check the Team or Club plans.
